A compass – my tool on life's journeys.

Am I in dark and troubled waters.
- and I don't know what is up and down.

Am I outside where I can't find the bottom - Do I have to resort to a compass.
I have several compasses I use, depending on the waters I'm moving in.
But I had to look for this compass for a long time and although I hope never to have to use it again

- I will forever have it with me, on my journey.

In 2022, my brother was kidnapped by the FARC in Columbia and I joined an involuntary journey – a journey where I maneuvered in unknown land without firm ground under my feet. – With my brother's life at stake.

A completely new compass had to be used here - a compass that I, in my wildest imagination, had never imagined I would learn to use. A call, a message or a thought - and everything was off course - I feared the worst and hoped for the best. One had to think clearly and act correctly, while everything could turn 180 degrees in a split second. In the eye of the hurricane, everything is unpredictable.

My compass is of course felt - Since felt is my DNA - my language.

The orders are burned into the wool with a laser cutter - As the experience has burned into my soul.

My brother Niels Frantzen spent 5 months. in captivity before we succeed, with a ransom, in getting him FREE.

We are doing well today, all of us – each with our new life compass in our luggage.
